Residents of the local communities were encouraged to participate by donating new and unused toys at their convenience to TMF Donation Locations, guaranteeing that each toy contributed directly benefited the foundation's chosen recipients.

Annual Holiday Turkey Giveaway
The Tyrese Maxey Foundation Annual Holiday Turkey Giveaway went the extra mile by distributing over 1,000 full Thanksgiving meals, each one designed to make a "1%" difference. These meals included turkeys and nutritious dinner sides, embodying our commitment to Getting "1%" Better, Giving "One percent" more, and Making our impact "1" Percent bigger each year. Partnering with organizations like DTLR, the Philadelphia 76ers, Stroehmann, Giant, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Pure Fuel, and the Black Farmers’ Association, TMF aimed to alleviate the financial burden on Philadelphia families facing food disparity. A heartfelt thank you to our partners; we eagerly look forward to 2024!

Back-To-School Block Party
The Back to School Block Party, generously sponsored by Kroger, Watchbox, and Stroehmann, was a community-driven initiative aimed at empowering Garland schoolchildren for a successful academic year. With the help of our partners, the Tyrese Maxey Foundation provided 300 Garland ISD students with free backpacks, school supplies, and haircuts. Additionally, we were able to provide 10 laptops to selected Garland ISD students.

TMF Superhero Holiday Toy Drive
The Tyrese Maxey Foundation Holiday Toy Drive is not just a toy drive; it's a commitment to Getting "1%" Better, Giving "One Percent" more, and Making our impact "1" Percent bigger each year. This multi-city, community-wide initiative is dedicated to providing families and children in the Philadelphia and Garland areas with new and unused toys during the holiday season. Collaborating with partners like DTLR, Wilson’s Sports, Chili’s, New-Gen Comics, Youth Services Incorporated, Garland Independent School District, and many others, the foundation has successfully provided 10,500 toys ($53,933 monetary value) to youth across hospitals and schools. This effort reflects our continuous pursuit of improvement, increased generosity, and a growing impact by 1% annually.
